As the first quarter of 2021 unfolded, the European Android market witnessed interesting trends in the sports gaming category. Sensor Tower's data provides a comprehensive look into the performance of some of the leading titles in this space.

Soccer Super Star saw a decrease in both downloads and weekly active users over the quarter, starting with around 416K downloads in the last week of December and ending with about 240K in the last week of March. Weekly active users also saw a downward trend, from approximately 1.7M to 1.3M in the same timeframe.

8 Ball Pool experienced a slight decrease in downloads, from around 263K to 202K, and its weekly active users fluctuated, ending the quarter with nearly 1.5M active users. The game's revenue showed some variability but remained significant, with around $305K in the last week of December 2020 and approximately $234K by the end of March 2021.

Head Ball 2 - Online Soccer observed a decline in downloads from roughly 271K to 209K. However, weekly active users increased, particularly towards the end of the quarter, reaching nearly 1.9M. Revenue figures showed a general downtrend, starting at about $88K and closing the quarter near $49K.

Basketball Arena: Online Game demonstrated a remarkable peak in downloads during the first week of February, hitting over 371K, likely due to a marketing push or update. Weekly active users reached a high point of around 743K in the same period but saw a decrease to about 398K by the end of March. Revenue trends were modest, starting at around $25K and ending at about $15K.

Lastly, Hunting Clash: Shooting Games showed growth in downloads in the early weeks of January, peaking at approximately 181K before a gradual decline to around 93K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, reaching a high of around 309K and then falling to about 212K. Revenue remained relatively stable, with a notable increase to over $102K in mid-March before settling at around $95K.
